Deliveries over Easter - please note that our courier cannot collect or deliver on the Easter bank holiday dates so we are unable to offer deliveries on Friday April 3, Monday April 5, Tuesday April 6 inclusive, deliveries start up again on Wednesday April 7.  We are also unable to offer deliveries of short shelf life fresh bakery goods on Saturday April 4, we can offer deliveries of long shelf life goods on Saturday April 4 if this date is pre-selected and our Saturday delivery option is selected at checkout. 

Delivery Terms

Please be careful to enter the recipient's name and address details correctly.

Your order will be delivered to the recipient and delivery address provided to us at the time of placing your order, it is your responsibility to check that these details are correct on your order confirmation email, we do not check addresses you provide us with on your order. 

If you are unsure of an address or postcode, please always check it using the Royal Mail postcode finder before entering the address details when placing your order.

If you find that the delivery address on your order confirmation needs to be amended, please contact us - we may be able to change the delivery address on your behalf provided that the order has not been prepared for dispatch. 

Ensuring the recipient is going to be at the address provided on the requested day of delivery is the responsibility of the sender so we strongly recommend that the sender advises the recipient to expect a delivery. 

If you are sending a gift, please ensure that you track the parcel via the tracking details provided on your dispatch confirmation to ensure the gift is delivered as per your instruction. 

We would recommend that you download the DPD app from the App Store or Google play, as it will keep you informed of the whereabouts of your order and delivery driver and allow you more control over the delivery of your goods.

DPD will attempt the delivery twice and then the parcel will be returned to us.

If a DPD delivery is refused the parcel will be automatically returned to Huffkins, we cannot accept responsibility if your recipient refuses a delivery. 

On selected products we give the option for a nominated delivery date to be selected for your order, 

If you wish to receive your items on a Saturday, please ensure that Saturday Delivery is selected at checkout. Where the correct delivery option is not selected, orders will be delivered as close to the specified date as possible.

Only one selected delivery date can be processed per order. If multiple delivery dates are chosen for different items in one order, all items will be dispatched for delivery on the first selected delivery date. If you require different delivery dates for different items, please place a separate order for each one

Ensuring that the correct delivery date is selected is your responsibility, we therefore recommend for you to carefully check that the selected delivery date shown on your order confirmation is correct, if you would like to amend the delivery date please contact us immediately, we may be able to change your selected delivery date if your order has not been prepared for dispatch.

Due to the fresh nature of our products, we are unable to dispatch items for delivery on Sundays, Mondays, or on days immediately following Bank Holidays.

While we make every effort to deliver your order on time, we cannot be held responsible for parcels not being delivered or collected due to circumstances out of our control. This includes but is not limited to: incorrect delivery information being provided; if the recipient does not accept the delivery; adverse weather or road closures affecting the courier delivery service; postal strikes; government lockdown.

Highlands & Offshore Islands

Unfortunately due to their shorter shelf life we are unable to offer delivery of fresh or semi-fresh products to Highlands and Offshore islands including the Isle of Mann and Channel Islands. This includes scones, lardy cakes, lemon drizzle cakes, carrot cakes, brownies and flapjack slices. 

We can offer delivery of ambient products and gift sets containing all ambient products to addresses in these locations.

The postcodes in the Scotland and Scottish Islands which we cannot deliver fresh and semi-fresh products are: AB31-AB38, AB41-AB56, FK17-FK21, HS1-HS9, IV1-IV63, KA27, KA28, KW0-KW17, PA20-PA78, PH15-PH18, PH19-PH50, ZE1-ZE3.

Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland at this time.

Subscriptions Delivery

Pay As You Go (PAYG) Subscriptions

Your first Pay As You Go subscription delivery will be delivered as follows:

  • Orders placed before 12pm Mon-Fri will be delivered the next day
  • Orders placed after 12pm Mon-Fri will be delivered in two working days
  • Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on the following Tuesday as we do not make deliveries on Mondays

Subsequent orders will then be raised and invoiced on the same date each delivery month at the frequency requested. These will follow the above delivery schedule. Please note that this means your delivery day will depend on the day of the week/time the repeat order is raised and invoiced.

Prepaid Gift Subscriptions

Your first prepaid gift subscription order can be delivered on the date of your choice (exc Sunday & Monday) by using the date selector on the product page. If you do not select a first delivery date, your prepaid subscription order will be delivered in line with the above mentioned Pay As You Go subscription schedule.

Subsequent orders will be delivered every four weeks - either from the date of your first order, or from the date of your selected first delivery date if one was chosen. 

Additional Subscription delivery details - Pay As You Go & Prepaid

If a subscription delivery is due on the 29th, 30th, 31st of a month when these dates do not fall, the delivery will be re-assigned to the nearest available delivery date before the end of the month.

All delivery information is based on UK mainland deliveries and excludes bank holidays and days immediately after bank holidays. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed due to circumstances beyond our control.

Delivery FAQs

Why don’t you ship to Ireland or EU Countries?

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland or countries within the European Union.

These changes have occurred following Britain’s exit from the EU. We apologise for any disappointment caused.

Should circumstances change, we may re-introduce delivery to these countries in the future.

Can you ship internationally outside of UK and Europe?

Unfortunately, we only currently offer shipping to UK. We are looking to introduce shipping to more countries in the future soon. 

Can you ship to British Forces addresses?

Unfortunately, we only do not offer this service at this time. However, it is something we are looking to launch in the future. If you would like to be notified when this option is available, please email us.

Can you ship to multiple addresses?

Currently, individual orders can only be sent to one shipping address. If you would like items sent to different addresses, please place a separate order for each address.

We are looking to offer a multiple shipping address option in the future. Please subscribe to our emails for updates.

What is classed as a Fresh product?

Lardy Cakes and Scones are classed as Fresh products and are available for next day delivery only. This is to ensure the best quality and freshness upon delivery.

What is classed as a Semi-Fresh product?

Sponge loaf cakes and cake slices are classed as semi-fresh products. Our promised shelf life from receipt of goods varies depending on the product please refer to product pages for further details.

Why can't I order a Fresh or Semi-Fresh product?

To avoid compromising the quality and shelf life of fresh and semi-fresh products, when selecting a pre-booked delivery date we only deliver these where a 1-2 day delivery is possible.

Due to longer transit times to Highlands, offshore islands, Ireland and international countries, we are unable to ship fresh or semi-fresh products to these areas.

Can you exclude prices for gifts?

If your order is a gift being sent directly to the recipient, we strongly advise you add a Greetings Card to your order.  You can add this card along with your personal message on the product page before adding to basket.

When a Greetings Card is added to the basket, our team will not include any paperwork with prices on in the order.

Why wasn't my gift message included?

To include a gift message with your order, you must add a Greetings Card. You can add this on the product page when you enter your gift message. Alternatively, you can add one to your basket here.

We are unable to guarantee the inclusion of gift messages where a Greetings Card or Gift Card is not included within the order.

Why did my order arrive late?

If your order arrived later than expected, this may be due to the wrong delivery option being selected. For example, if you selected a delivery date on a Saturday, but did not choose Saturday Premium delivery, your order would be delivered on the next working day.

Fresh products must be dispatched from our bakery with next day delivery to ensure optimum quality. So if you placed an order containing these items on a Friday, either after 12pm, or without choosing Saturday Premium delivery, your order will be dispatched on the following Monday. 

Please also note that while we will always do our best, we are unable to guarantee delivery dates due to circumstances beyond our control. The delivery times listed on this website are for guidance only.
